Official Launch of the IRIS Programme

On 18th of July 2018 in Double Tree by Hilton hotel in Yerevan will take place the official launch event of the IRIS programme. Event will be opened by the welcoming words of the Minister of Diaspora of the Republic of Armenia  head of the EU delegation to Armenian H.E. Pitor Antony Switalski, Deputy head of the Austrian Development Agency’s office in Yerevan Mrs. Nora Alanakyan, Head of the international cooperation and operations department of Austrian Red Cross Mr. Walter Hayek as well as the Secretary General of the Armenian Red Cross Society Dr. Anna Yeghiazaryan.

During the event overall manager of the IRIS programme Mr. Michael Grabner will present the programme and the represenatives of the implementing partner orgaisations will present the details of their part of the programme.

Increased resilience of Syrian Armenians and host Population (IRIS) Programme is funded by the European Union through the EU Regional Trust Fund in Response to the Syrian Crisis, Austrian Development Cooperation as well as Austrian Red Cross and being implemented by the consortium led by Austrian Red Cross and consisting of Armenian Caritas Benevolent NGO, Armenian Red Cross Society, Centre for Coordination of Syrian Armenians’ Issues and SME Cooperation Association. The overall budget of the programme is 3.3 mln EUR.
